We are an emerging “Locally Grown” Market started by some neighborhood Moms who understand the importance of sustainable farming practices for our family’s health and the health of our environment.

GROW FREE!

All of our produce is grown organically, which means no growers in this market use synthetic fertilizers or pesticides! (Why is “Organic” so Important? See our Q & A section…)

Unlike other co-ops, buying clubs, or CSAs where everyone gets the same basket of stuff, with Crunchy Mama’s Locally Grown you get to order what you want, in the quantities that you want, from the farms that you want. The weekly email lists the produce, milled products, fresh flowers, and artisan goods available that week, and you can browse the items on this website (on your own time!) before you place your order.

PRODUCE BASKETS

Or, if you are more adventurous and want to save a little time just order the Produce Basket and we will pick 4-5 fresh vegetables and 3 seasonal fruits for you! All you have to do is bring the reusable basket or bag and we’ll fill it on the spot! (For a list of typical produce items you might find in our Baskets – see or Q & A section…)

If you are a Grower or other Local producer of Natural/Organic goods and are interested in being part of our market, please check out the Q’s and A’s section for more information.

If you are a customer interested in purchasing from our market, please read through the Q’s and A’s and then set up an account by going to the “Your Account” section. You will receive an email from us when the Market opens in August.

Gift Certificates are available! If you would like to purchase a gift of health and flavor, please consider a Crunchy Mama Locally Grown gift certificate. You can decide the amount and the lucky recipient can purchase locally grown produce without having to pay membership fees!

Our Pick-up Location is Crunchy Mama in Largo on Indian Rocks Road.

We are still setting up the Market and hope to have it functioning by the end of August 2008.
