Dawson Local Harvest:  JUST ADDED! TOMATOES and New HOLIDAY DESSERTS!

Dawson Harvest for November 30th

JUST ADDED! TOMATOES and New HOLIDAY DESSERTS!

TOMATOES? I know, sounds crazy. We did an experiment with Tomatoes in the new High Tunnel hoophouse, and we got some! There’s about 3 orders of ripe Assorted Heirlooms plus Green Tomatoes for frying, in Vegetables.

MY DAILY BREAD also jus added delicious New HOLIDAY DESSERTS. My favorite (just barely) are yummy White Chocolate Raspberry Muffins, just edging out the Eggnog Pound Cake with Streusel, but the bakers really like the Chocolate Gingerbread Cookies! You’ll find them in Fresh Bakery.

YOU CAN ORDER THESE, the Tomatoes, and all the other Veggies, Beef, Milk, Chicken, Eggs, Yeast Rolls, and more until 9 pm TONIGHT!

Thanks, Alan, Market Manager

GFM :  #giving tuesday

#GivingTuesday is a national day of giving as a charitable alternative to Black Friday and Cyber Monday.

This is an opportunity for you to donate and help us continue supporting Farmers, artisans, crafters, direct sales vendors and our community. We will continue working for racial, economic, environmental, and social justice in our local area and Southern Appalachia and be a part of giving back.

Your Gift to GFM Makes a Difference.

You have an opportunity to double the impact of your gift. That’s right, double your gift! A generous donor will match all online donations made on #GivingTuesday dollar for dollar, up to $3,000. This match will continue through the end of 2018!

Celebrate #GivingTuesday with us, double the impact of your donation, and become a partner in creating social change by making an online gift today!

Thank you so much for your help and for working together with us to create a culture of Change, not Charity in East Tennessee, Greene County, and Southern Appalachia.

Please Donate Today. #givingtuesday

Good morning!

This is just a friendly reminder to place your order online for this week. Market ordering will close tonight (Tuesday) at 10 pm. Please don’t forget to order! But if you do forget, give me (Linda) a call Wednesday morning. I will most likely be able to get hold of the farmers and place a late order for you.

Remember to hit that last “submit” button. I really dislike disappointing a customer who comes to market, only to find no order in their name because they didn’t hit the last button. When your order is placed, you will receive an email confirmation. If for any reason you fail to receive this confirmation, please contact Linda as soon as you realize it’s missing.

Also please go to our Facebook page and like, comment, and share this week’s post. Facebook isn’t allowing me to post on multiple sites, or sometimes post multiple photos. So please help us spread the word. Surveys indicate that word of mouth is the most effective form of advertisement. Please help us advertise our fantastic growing market!

See you on Thursday!

Blessings,
Michael & Linda
