So, let’s see…the weather seems to be dipping back into a bit of a chill, the leaves have been blowing all over the place, the winds…well, they just keep howling…and, the day, well, it’s been election day, voting day, get your voice heard day.
And, with the weather, easing into November, and everyone on edge with the results of their voting, let us please, please, please put some comfort into this Tuesday.

HI EVERYBODY!
I absolutely love Squash, my favorite way to prepare it being sauteed with onions in bacon grease. I know, I know, those of you recoiling in horror at such sacrilege, but I was raised Southern, and I have to have bacon grease with everything including vanilla ice cream! Okay, maybe not that.
The point here is, locally-grown organically-raised summer Vegetables like Squash are about to disappear until next year! But You still Have Time to Order Squash, Zucchini, Green Beans and shelling Peas, plus delicious free-range Eggs, raw Milk, Caramel Apple Bread, fermented Okra, and lots more! The Market Closes Tonight at 9 pm!

We hope you and your property are all OK after the serious storms early Tuesday morning! Remember: it’s Election Day today! Don’t forget to vote!
This is just a friendly reminder to place your order online by 10 pm this evening. Please don’t forget to order! But if you do forget, give me (Linda) a call in the morning. I will most likely be able to get hold of the farmers and place a late order for you.
Remember to hit that last “submit” button. I really dislike disappointing a customer who comes to market, only to find no order in their name because they didn’t hit the last button. When your order is placed, you will receive an email confirmation. If for any reason you fail to receive this confirmation, please contact Linda as soon as you realize it’s missing.

Stones River Market: John's Home Destroyed by Tornado
The storm that came through last evening (11-5-18) has cause a rash of damage across Rutherford County and surrounding areas. Our Market Owner John Erdmann’s home is destroyed! and several homes surrounding them.
I’ve been in contact with him via texting, he says “everyone is okay, the farm is destroyed”!
Please keep them in your thoughts and prayers and I will keep everyone updated when I know anything.
Nothing will change with Wednesday delivery on ‘The Porch’. Please come by and sign a card for him and his family. I’m sure I’ll have more information by then to give everyone.
