Dawson Local Harvest:  New Arrivals This Week

The Dawson Local Harvest for July 15th

New Arrivals This Week

HI EVERYONE!

Quick Update on the Market this week. Blueberries from BRAMBERI FARMS have joined their blackberry cousins in the Fruit listings, much to the delight of all you berry aficionados. I’m sure they’ll get gobbled up.

And for those of you who can’t conceive of a picnic or cookout without coleslaw, great news! LEILANI’S has Purple Cabbage, also called red cabbage by some, which makes for very colorful coleslaw, salads, and sauerkraut. Great taste and a nice crunch! They also finally have Heirloom Tomatoes available, still assorted because of small numbers of individual varieties, but those numbers should be increasing. Time to break out the white bread and mayo!

If you’ve never tried free-range Pork I can assure you the difference in taste is amazing. And it just so happens that FIVE HENS FARMS is adding freshly-processed Pork Chops to their listings in the Meats section. That’s good eating there!

THE MARKET IS NOW OPEN!

REMEMBER! You can now order until Tuesday night at 9pm. Pick up your order at Leilani’s Gardens Friday afternoons from 4 to 7pm.

You’ll find the DAWSON LOCAL HARVEST at http://dawsonville.locallygrown.net

We thank you for your interest and support of our efforts to bring you the healthiest, the freshest and the most delicious locally-produced foods possible! We guarantee your satisfaction with all products in the DAWSON LOCAL HARVEST.

Have a happy and healthy week!
